This book has a fantastic start. The first few pages, a chapter and a half.

I goes down hill.

Further still.

What?

The ending makes it a more interesting story, if I cared about the story, which I didn't.

Bulgakov is amazing, he is obviously a great writer. But wtf was this.

I really enjoyed it, even more than I thought I would enjoy a behind-the-scenes theatre satire. Only 4 stars because it's unfinished.
