FINALLY BLESS UPPPPPPP
it couldve been worse but i would've like it better if i was reading it by choice and not for school. but i wouldve never chosen this. makes ya think. anyway!

I actually have an illustrated edition that I couldn't seem to find on Goodreads which is more of a coffee table book size. It was a nice reminder of the pleasures of solitude in these strange self-distancing times.

I completely understand why I hated this when I read parts of it in high school. Loved reading it in full.
“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.”

Look was it the best book I ever read? No, I didn’t always want to hear about his beans or the price of his groceries from year to year, but I did find some of his reflections interesting, especially when he started talking about reading classics in their original language. Very glad I listened to this as an audiobook because not sure I would’ve been able to get through it otherwise.
challenging inspiring reflective slow-paced

1 part good, 50 parts a drag
