inspiring reflective relaxing slow-paced

Some of the essays were really quite beautiful and I enjoyed reading about Henry David Thoreau's insights. This is certainly not for everyone and I wouldn't recommend it to many people I know because I think that most people would find this to be a bit boring. However, if your life goal is to be a hermit you will probably like this one.

It was really hard to get through the first chapter.  But some of the later essays were really beautiful.  Definitely have a love/hate relationship with this one.

3.5
Slice of life, with philosophy and nature observations sprinkled into the mix. That said it's not an exiting read and defintely not for everyone because of that. I enjoyed it, but I do understand why some might call this bland and boring!
