Another great book in this series! They honestly never disappoint me - I just can’t get enough of Myron and Win. The writing was great and it was pretty fast paced. At 452 pages, it was slightly too long and I felt like it dragged a little in the middle. Despite the length, I still managed to read it fast because it was a page turner and I was intrigued by the plot. The plot was really interesting and the twists were good. I had some theories but the final reveal was a bit of a shock to me! It made a lot of sense though and I loved how it was done. I love Myron and his humour. Him and Win are probably my favourite literary duo. It was nice to see some new characters and some familiar faces - I love Esperanza and Big Cyndi. I can’t wait to read the next one in the series.

Not my favorite of the Myron Bolitar books thusfar (maybe because we listened to it, and Harlan Coben can write books but he CAN'T do voices! Bring back Jonathan Marosz!) but still good.

Library book

I really liked this thriller and I was totally drawn in and couldn't put it down at times. This was my first Coben book and I will be reading more, however I'm worried they might all get repetitive. I liked all the twists in this book and the way it was all resolved. Some of it was a little too violent to be beleivable so I wish that was different, but besides taht it was a good read. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good thriller!

A great option for a weekend binge read. Few plot holes and it all got a bit (lot?) ridiculous by the end. Probably best saved for fans of other Bolitar books.

Long, fast paced, twisted narrative with lots of characters that flat lines. Very disappointing ending. First Myron Bolitar book. First time reading a Harlan Coben book. Don't think I'll revisit this series.

After already reading a book from this author in the past, I expected to enjoy this book... and I did.
I thought it took a while to get going, but after that I really couldn't put it down. I was hooked, intrigued to know what the truth was.
I thought the book ended brilliantly, luring me into a false theory of what happened, before the real truth is unexpectedly revealed.
I had no idea before I started that the book was the 8th in a series. It can be easily read without having followed the series from the beginning. However after finishing this book, I definitely would like to read more of this series.

There were many exaggerations and the story was dragged in a lot of places.

Myron Bolitar and his pals are always a fun adventure. I did not guess the ending and that makes it even more fun.
