Part of a series but can be read as a standalone; multiple POVs; suspenseful; kidnapping theme; fast paced in the beginning and end, but it really dragged in the middle; more of a slow burn overall; enjoyed the wittiness of the MC, the plot was interesting, and I liked the writing style but I couldn't keep all of the characters straight so it lost me a lot (could be the audio format or the fact that I haven't read the other books in the series)
