primeira leitura de 2024 com iarinha! 🤍

I loved this silly little book. I think young adult murder mysteries is a favorite genre of mine, one that I discovered while reading this. It was just so enjoyable and fun. I loved the characters, and I loved the small twists. It seemed like maybe it would be a first book (references to Agatha Christie, the last few pages where they talked about wanting to look into other cases) and I really hope that's true. Iris and Alice are great characters and their motivations were so realistic and I would love to read more about them.

I absolutely loved this book! The mystery was great, even though I was able to guess the outcome early on. I also loved the Agatha Christie, and the Veronica Mars references, although I felt like there could have been a bit more of them. Both the main characters were also interesting, as both were dealing with trauma as well as the normal high school drama. I really enjoyed this, and I can’t wait to read the sequel.
