I have no idea how i feel after finishing this book, but i couldn't put it down. The two plots entwine and create an unreliable narrator, who i feel so odd about now that i don't know how i feel about the ending, but one thing is for sure, this book highlights how one mistake, one lie, can turn into a web that you can get trapped in, and that your actions have consequences.

I finished this book in one day and I have no idea what to say about it. I feel like it threw me against a wall. I can't even tell if I'd recommend it. I'll get back to you on that

With a brilliant opening line, this one drew me straight it - “I’m not dressed to find a body. I’m wearing cutoffs and a thin white tank top.”

This book was set from the perspective on Hannah, one of five teenagers who made a stupid mistakes and then have to live out their lies as it fears them apart.

Hannah from the outset, is a very dislikable character. It’s clear she’s selfish and is definitely one you can only love to hate. Despite being 18 and ready to go to college, they all give very bratty teenager vibes.

This was a super fast paced read, set in 2 parts. Following the event and the aftermath, while watching a very close knit group of lifelong friends struggle with what they’ve done as the wildfire rages and the police look for evidence on who the culprits are.
