This sequel definitely ramps up the action and danger for our heroes, both old and new. Matt's powers are growing and new members of the five emerge in a new adventure in a new location. I really, really loved the inclusion of Peruvian culture and the Incas. I wanted to know more about new and side characters, like Pedro.

The story moved quickly and there was plenty of blockbuster action, including helicopters, gunfights, explosions, and more. The ending was really dramatic and had some big surprises. I really do wonder where the story will go from here, especially since there are two members of the five now present, and there are new questions I need answered.

A really fun, quick read for anyone who wants a new adventure!

Starting to remember details from last time I read it and I like it again, but is it me or was he repeating himself with some sentences, literally.

This book is from where the whole freaking plot really starts to pick up!
And of course I love it, we get to see Pedro whom I shall forever protect. But well I'll protect almost all of the five even though they don't need protecting, lol.
The plot was a little slow but still pretty interesting and gah I love the Inca plotline so much. I rated 4 star because there was less of Pedro and Matt than I remembered? And boy Matt is really slow on getting a rip over his powers but I definitely am here for it.

ALSO THAT INCA DAGGER GAH, I HAVE PTSD
(This is a re-read so I'm referencing to a huge spoilery scene in the last book)

Honestly, Matt is like the only character I care about in this series.
