4.5 stars

I wouldn't say it topped the 1st book. However I couldn't stop turning pages. Amara and Dante just had me intrigued the wholee time.

Soo many twists and some interesting parts. 

Tristan and Morana just on another level. Morana and Dante just cherry on top. 

This 'airport guy' is fr so mysterious.  

Some plot holes which I guess is understandable as I've noticed it's an ongoing series. Not complaining yet. As I knew what I was getting into..

Just a warning to everyone else though!!

Took me a little longer to finish this one than I thought because of work but it helped to have the audiobook. I'm so in love with this universe and the characters. Nothing compares to this mafia series imo. I can't wait to read about Dante and Amara although, Trist and Morana have my heart.

What I can tell u?! This is the best book I've EVER read in my entire life! Honestly! I cannot put into words the emotions of my very soul and mind! This book is a blend of everything you can and cannot expect. It's impossible to even describe! The characters in the book are a distinct art form. They are written down to the smallest little thing, their stories are filled with pain, fear, power, envy, wrath -everything you can think of.
I want to thank the author specifically for such stories, for such a huge and invaluable work, for such a style of writing that it is impossible to tear yourself away from the book.
I've only read the Moran and Tristan books, but I'm already looking forward to hearing the stories of the other characters!
