Eine wirklich haarsträubende Dystopie, ich glaube das werde ich erstmal ein paar Tage sacken lassen müssen.

Was enjoying reading it-- got as far as end of Part 1. I was reading along with a friend but we had to stop the readalong. Hoping to pick it back up sometime

It’s a classic for a reason; 1984 is truly fantastic novel. Part 3 had me captivated and I could not put the book down.

I wavered between giving this three stars or two - the infodump of Winston reading the Goldstein book irritated me and almost pushed me to a two, as it seemed such a lazy way to convey necessary information, and I didn't find the story very engaging, but ultimately I went with three stars because of the ideas in this book. I hate that they're still so relevant. Reading 1984 in 2018 really sucks.
