My 4th book by this author, it’s basically like reading the same book in a different font for lack of a better way of putting it. Not a bad book don’t get me wrong but super repetitive, instalove, can tell how the book is going to play out within the first 2 chapters

This series just keeps getting better

I just can’t get enough of this series. Oliver and Beckham’s story had me from the get go. It’s one of those can’t put it down, don’t want to adult stories. The chemistry between these two MCs is off the charts. I adore this authors stories as they always capture your attention with the writing style and
storyline. Now I’m not going to give anything away as my favourite part of the Stonewall books is the mystery solving and this one was amazing as I could not figure out who it was and I usually can. Absolutely brilliant and definitely going in my reread folder

Beck and Olly will melt your heart ♥

Holy crap! This was a serious emotional rollercoaster. Wow. This book kept me on the edge of my seat. The way these two met is the best story of a chance meeting I've ever read. There was a fantastic element of mystery and suspense that melded perfectly with the emotions that played out in this book. I really appreciate how there was an interesting story alongside Oliver's drama. Oliver brought me to tears a few times with all the heartbreak and trauma hes experienced. Beck is literally the best guy ever despite his own personal trauma. My heart broke for Beck and the time he would never get with his father but I will say it made me appreciate my family all the more. This book was a fantastic read especially if you like mystery and true love.

I appreciated that the age gap (16 years, 24 and 40) was actually a factor in how both main characters related to each other. This mystery felt a bit more intense than some others.

just a mess rly. like there was no real development of the mystery and the reveal at the end was simultaneously very predictable and very convenient. also a lot of clunky phrases that are like a caricature of a gay person.
