This instantly just made my top five favorites of all time. The pacing, the characters, the banter, the lore/magic. It was all perfect.

Beginning was good, the middle was alot of filler then started to get good like the last 60 pages. The ending was disappointing and cringy. Will read the next one but hoping for more from it.

This was in 3 ⭐️ (borderline love, just no staying power in my brain) territory until the end shocked me.

I need the next one NOW pleaseeeee

I’ve had this on my tbr list and finally went in and I’m so glad I did.
Willow thought she knew a lot about The Coven but that quickly changed after she met Headmaster Alaric. Strong willed and ready to fight for what she believes in she learns there is more than just a family secret she’s fighting for. I have so many questions and ready to jump into The Cursed. Those that love paranormal romance I definitely recommend. It is a little slow building but I enjoyed every bit. Spice level is about a 3 out of 5 and I do recommend looking into the triggers if you have any.

There was a lot going on here. I found the premise and idea really interesting but the plotting and character building needed way more time and attention. It felt so rushed and I would get lost from how one point would jump to another. It almost felt like a draft that was published too soon. The dialogue was "eh" and I needed more "show" not "tell". It needed editing and more time to feel like a fully formed book. Because of these reasons, it didn't quite hit for me the whole way through. That said, I am holding out for book two because there is definitely room for improvement and growth and the story was interesting enough to give book two a chance.

I was struggling to get through this book. The plot was clunky and all over the place. The insta-lust was weird and the way sex played into the academia story line just gave it a weird vibe.
