I enjoyed the plot of the book. I love witches. I love vampires. I love fantasy books that include demons and angels and it’s all very interesting. However, I don’t really feel connected to or like the main character. The men are written perfectly. But, this is a 16 year old girl-Maybe it’s written this way because she is so young-that is brave and strong and will do whatever to fulfill her destiny to then getting sidetracked and acting way above what a 16 year old would at times to then switching to acting like a 7 year old. There were some conversations that seemed out of place and very unnecessary or just like they didn’t fit. However, where the characters have failed, the plot has succeeded. I will read the next book!

Willow is a witch with secrets that we learn pretty early on. She is brought to a school where she is a legacy of, while dealing with hot vessel (read: basically vampire) Headmaster “Gray” (that’s not his official name but it is what he is called throughout the book).
That is basically what is happening during the book but i can say too much without spilling stuff. It was pretty entertaining and the banter was great. I love Willow and i’m looking forward to the next book.
