Great story, love the witches and demon vessels... The twist at the end was great and gasp inducing. But I don't much care for the 16 year old who lost her virginity to a centuries old vessel and is in a relationship with said vessel... So heads up if that isn't for you. Also, parts of the story seemed inconsistent. I enjoyed it overall, but won't be buying a copy or rereading.

There were so many aspects of this story that really interested me, however, I just felt completely left out of things as the reader (but not in the good way)! I so wish more time was given to backstory and world building because it was quite fascinating. The magic system intrigued me, but there were so many things that felt confusing due to its complexities. 

I will say that the last few chapters of the book had me at the edge of my seat and the way it ended made me give it a slightly higher rating as I am curious to see what happens next. Probably will come back to it to read later.

Please CHECK TRIGGER WARNINGS BEFORE READING….

This book wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t great, I enjoyed my time reading it, and getting to know the characters while reading. This was a ROMANTASY, the romance is tied to the plot and the plot is tied to the romance, so for readers not looking for a romance skip this one. At times I found the relationship between Grey and Willow frustrating. But I will say they’re both toxic as hell, and I enjoyed that. The characters are truly not the best people in the world, but it nice. Book def had some spice, on page, which is a bonus for me. 3.75/5 🌶️

I do wish this book dived in deeper to the magic system and history of the coven. I think it would have added more to the plot if the story.

Overall a really enjoyable quick read!

I enjoyed the plot of the book. I love witches. I love vampires. I love fantasy books that include demons and angels and it’s all very interesting. However, I don’t really feel connected to or like the main character. The men are written perfectly. But, this is a 16 year old girl-Maybe it’s written this way because she is so young-that is brave and strong and will do whatever to fulfill her destiny to then getting sidetracked and acting way above what a 16 year old would at times to then switching to acting like a 7 year old. There were some conversations that seemed out of place and very unnecessary or just like they didn’t fit. However, where the characters have failed, the plot has succeeded. I will read the next book!

Oh wow.
Fairly short book with an ending that packs a punch many times larger than the story itself. 
Can hardly wait to get my eyes into the next book

I enjoyed this book in the beginning but couldn’t convince myself to finish it. There were inconsistencies to the story I had a hard time reconciling and it was hard to remember the plot at times. I also personally did not vibe with the instant and constant lust between the FMC and the MMC.
