I bloody loved this book. Was it generic? Hell yeah. Did I give any shits? Hell nah. From the moment I read the first line, I was bloody well hooked, and the moment the FMC and MMC met for the first time, I knew this book was going to be a big ass hit for me. This is true enemies to lovers which means the sex is incredibly dubious in consent, there's force when there's feedings, and there's a whole lot of back and forth between the two characters.

And I fucking loved every bit of it.

Very dark, with explicitly abusive rape scenes. Rides the border of romanticizing abuse, so I appreciate the author's statement at the beginning clarifying that what happens in this book is abuse. I value its realism about sexual violence and the stakes of a relationship with an abuser, but I also felt the detail on the rape scenes was pornographic enough to be highly triggering for many people who have experienced SA. Made me think, had a thrilling plotline with hight stakes, but also left me sad about the state of sexual violence in the world.

Dieser erste Band hat mir viel Spaß gemacht. Das Darstellung Magie unterscheidet sich explizit von "klassischen" Hexengeschichten, obwohl es mir etwas unausgere ft vorkam. Dennoch hat mir das Konzept der Gesellschaft in dem Buch und der Geschichte an sich gut gefallen.
Wer nach einem kurzweiligen Einteiler sucht, könnte dieses Buch lesen. Der Cliffhanger ist zwar stark, aber hat für die prinzipielle Geschichte dieses Buches kaum weiterführende Konsequenzen.
Mir hat bei dem auch eine Content Note gefehlt. Es werden definitiv Themen nicht nur angerissen sondern ausführlich dargestellt, die ich gerne vorher gewusst hätte.
Ich persönlich werde Buch zwei NICHT  lesen.
