excepto el final, el resto es un poco decepción
es prácticamente igual a una trilogía que me leí hace unos meses, extremadamente predecible y te puedes saltar párrafos enteros y te enteras de toda la trama sin problema
esta autora tiene el libro what lies beyond the veil que le da mil vueltas

I still have mixed feelings about the ending, but I cannot stop thinking about this book and am ready for the second. The only reason I took off a half star is because... well... if you read it you'll understand at the end. It was rushed.

Dnf 80% I want to say I really really really really liked the beginning of this book. I was invested with the story. There was enough intrigue to keep me wanting more. But our girl is 16. That’s a child. Intimate scenes between a child and a very old authority figure feels super gross. And he was basically grooming her the whole time. I know there are trigger warnings at the top, but underage takes that to another level I do not want to be a part of. I couldn’t even finish.
