PHENOMENAL!!!! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. Everyone has been through so much and they are doing such a good job and I love them. The team keeps trying to save strangers from contract slavery and help people even though they are miserable, injured assholes (Murderbot and ART are at least some of the time). I love how Murderbot is not an objective observer sometimes (it thinks there is something wrong with Three for preferring educational modules over fiction).

Oh, Murderbot, how I love each and every installment of your story. I’ve missed you, literary friend.

I particularly love the way that Wells has a slow burn to a big reveal around Murderbot (and other SecUnits’) mental/psychological state. Just fantastic.

I love the murderbot series and this follows directly from the events of network effect and carries on the enthralling events. Could barely put it down.

Another great murderbot diaries. It took me longer to be completely invested in this book than others, but I still read it in its entirety in two sessions.

Great commentary on trauma responses and how it can affect daily life.

I’m always happy to return to the Murderbot world. This installment doesn’t get into MurderBot’s personal growth as much but it has the charm, humor, and bot-friendships that make the previous novellas engaging.

It's so good to be back with Murderbot again! The voice and tone of the series is right on in this one, it is a page-turner with lovely/awkward moments of heart and a few laugh out loud scenes, and I love where Wells has set this up to go next. More please! And thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.
