Shoo, this book was a slog to get through. The only reason I persevered instead of DNFing was because I really have enjoyed the series so far. The first 40-45% was dry, dry, dry but eventually the action did pick up. Not as good as some of the previous books but a necessary step in Murderbot’s evolution.

This instalment didn’t take me as much as the Murderbot series usually does, which could be because I was a little distracted as I read it. It was still a great time with Murderbot, as his sass and grumpy charm never fails to put a smile on my face. I will continue on with the series, though, as I am enjoying it overall.
