It's definitely good to keep in mind, to borrow from Neil Gaiman in the forward: these are very much a "proto-Discworld Pratchett" . It was fun seeing seeing stories that were definitely him, but keep in mind that they were written for a newspaper with length limitations, so there's no room to stretch the creative wings. Definitely worth the read, but renews the ache that he's gone.

funny lighthearted fast-paced

Stories clearly written by a young writer finding their style and voice but Pratchett is distinctly there. A lot of the earlier stories are nice but don't necessarily satisfy or have fulfilling endings but the last few stories in particular all feel like fuller, more complete experiences. Maybe one for Pratchett fans only but I'm sure they'll enjoy it.
