I really should have only given this one star, but I feel somewhat better knowing the fates of these characters and, most importantly, read this book for free from my library. Had I paid for this pile of garbage, that second star wouldn't be here. It's pretty appalling that this book cost nearly as much as an actual novel when it was just a bunch of bullet points.

This is not a book. It's barely an appendix and it's honestly not interesting at all. Don't bother

I am so glad I didn't buy this book. I can't believe that this wasn't something added to the end of the last book - or at the very least, sold as a companion along with the last book. It could've been better if each section had given a reminder of which book each character was in and a couple sentences on the role they played. I had a hard time remembering each character. If I ever re-read the series, I would probably buy a used copy from the thrift store and mark it up. It was a neat idea... just not executed in a way that makes any sense. I do miss Sookie. I loved the first several books in the series.

Exactly what it says it is. A recap (in alphabet form) of all the major and minor characters of what happened after the end of the series. Some of the follow up is a line or two and uninteresting, some is a bit more intricate. 95% of the characters listed I didn't remember.

I just read this in an hour. The book consists of short blurbs about all the characters you've met while reading the Sookie Stackhouse series. I think some of the reviews have been pretty harsh. I think Harris did a good job with lots of the characters, especially the main ones. Some of the descriptions were lame like so and so catches gonorrhea or so and so has more adventures. Some of the descriptions make it seem she is still going to write about some of the characters from the world of Sookie Stackhouse. As usual the artwork in the book is beautiful.

If you've read the entire series and are a die hard Sookie fan then I recommend this book.

Not worth the money. Still didn't due justice to the characters I loved for years that were ruined in the last book.

I think this book was a horrible thing to do to readers who actually made it through the last few books of the series. I realize it wasn't intended to be a novel and I didn't expect it to be. But I was at least hoping for a series of short stories, something in narrative format, something worth paying the cost of buying it.
I wasn't expecting something that was essentially the same as the little comments at the end of the movie, "Bob went on to win two world champions. He and his wife are happy."

Literally just an alphabetical list of characters and their fate after the series ends. I only recommend for die-hard fans who care about every little character in the universe.

OK this was a pretty major let down and smacks of cashing in on fans wanting to know more, yet not putting in the time and effort to make it pretty good for the readers. This was not good.

Firstly it was so short that I had the whole thing read in 20 minutes. Don't be fooled by it saying 208 pages. Each person gets a page of their own and some of the entries are no more than a line or two. That's why you can get through it so quick. The second issue was that most of the people in the A-Z are people that I had never heard of. It left me wondering how bad my memory was if I was staring blankly at a lot of the names, but reading other reviews has assured me that other readers had the same problem. The book has that 'thrown together' feeling and I think it was rushed out without taking the time to make it something really cool.

Some of the entries were quite funny-Jane's being rather appropriate, and Bubba's was the one that got me sniggering. I did like the resolution for Pam, Sam, Sookie, Eric and especially Bill. A few of the entries were pretty sad though. But to be honest most were just bland and boring. To be honest, you should just ask someone who has the book to read out the best bits to you or just skip it altogether and leave Dead Ever After as your finishing point for the series.
