Though I didn’t enjoy Nona as much as the first two, it’s still just as fun to read. While I enjoyed the characters more than Harrow, the plot was less compelling and I felt less motivated to uncover the mysteries. Still, Muir manages somehow to make comedic timing work on text, and Nona herself is a delight to have in class.

I think this one is the most consistently enjoyable in the series, because I was able to get into the story more quickly. I tried not to concern myself with all the details of what was going on.

I love these characters so much. Can’t wait for Alecto.
