I haven't gathered all my thoughts together yet, so I'll leave a more detailed review later, but I absolutely loved it!

Look, this is the third book in a four book series. You're either going to read it because you're following the series, or you won't because you're not. This one was less weird than Harrow the Ninth but probably more weird than Gideon the Ninth. Fills in a lot of the backstory with WTF is going on with the setting. Importantly
the dog is fine

I knew that this would be a cliffhanger but was much less annoyed by it than I thought.
I can't say I enjoyed this one as much as Gideon the Ninth, but I think I enjoyed it more than Harrow the Ninth.

I vaguely wish I'd gone and re-listened to the first two, but I don't think I missed much by not going back to re-listen. I likely will for Alecto the Ninth.

I did appreciate that there was more world building/filling in going on in this one, though I'm relatively tired of the flipping back and forth between plot lines that's been the style of the last two books. That may be an effect of listening to the book rather than reading.

I loved this book and Nona loves me.

I pulled the book apart and devoured it.
