A really cute, easy rom com with a small bit of spice. This definitely gives you 80's Mannequin vibes (remember that film?) A cursed, knight statue is awakened by nerdy, divorced museum conservator in Chicago and comical antics ensues. Certainly, it fills the trope of the fish-out-of-water story as the hunky warrior tries to adapt to the modern world but this is a sweet, enjoyable read!

Seriously this reminded me of Crocodile Dundee crossed with Night at the Museum. All his I’ve never seen this before in addition to springing to life.

A little bit campy and definitely offbeat. But I mean that in the best way.

There is great chemistry between the two. And would you believe me if I mention this is both touching and spicey? Who knew that combination was a thing? I liked how much they ended up caring for each other and on the other hand, I loved her spicey dreams that came true.
