A little too insta-lusty for me. You definitely have to suspend your disbelief for this one.

SO GOOD!!!
I picked this up at the Ripped Bodice in New York because it is one of their book club books. While I couldn't be there in person to discuss it, I read the synopsis and knew I had to see how Griffin and Emily's story played out.
I loved how much history was involved and how easily it tied into the plot rather than being an awkward addition to the story. Griffin also had a lot of vulnerability, which was great to see.
At times, I thought plot points were rushed, or added in only to not be expanded upon. For example, Aaron's involvement toward the end, or the entire FBI search for the missing statue. But, I also see the need to keep those plot lines tidy as they didn't change the direction of the main plot, Griffin and Emily's romance.
Overall, this book was a great way to start the new year!
