I checked this out because Jennifer Hale (the Voice of Commander Shepard!) was doing the audio book.
I loved when the main character communicated with the Ship Mind and the "Jellies".
Other than that, I didn't care. It was very boring. I would just listen to Jennifer Hale's voice as ASMR while I did online shopping or cleaned my house. The story was too long. I liked how it ended but it took forever to get there.

I wanted to love this book but it was so hard to wade through the immense amount of details. It made it harder to read and follow everything that was going on. Overall great story just hard to get into and continue at some points.

Wow what a long book, and yet, it never felt slow or dragged out.
Really loved the concept, plot, characters and alien creatures. Kira was a great MC, who you got to see go through grief and fear and anger and forgiveness, watching her grow and adapt was great writing.
Up til the very last I wasn’t sure how the book would end, and I’m satisfied with the ending.
