While this book has some great advice I would only rank it as okay. I swear like a sailor, but this book seemed to do it just for the sake of doing it, and sometimes it pulled me out of the information because it didn’t feel natural in places. I don’t mind their casual approach or the swearing, but it shouldn’t be done just to do it…make it make sense.

Again, good information but only an okay read.

This no bullshit, in your face book blends daily ritual and spell work with modern psychology to basically unfuck yourself on a whole new level.  I loved Mandi's writing style and her pov was so similar to mine at times that I just wanted to be like, " can we please be besties!?!". I had a lot of good takeaways from this book and foresee coming back to it many times in the future. Definitely a five star read for those looking to do some inner work or who are on a healing journey.

I was cautious with this book because it's specifically marketed as "therapy is expensive, read this book instead" and that's just not a healthy mindset to throw off all therapy services and go at things alone. I understand that, especially in the US, that is the reality that many people live with. However, as a counselor that threw me off and I was hesitant going into the book. I will say that this book includes steps that would be beneficial alongside traditional therapy methods, but won't "cure" or "solve" any problem on their own, no matter how strong your beliefs are or what spell you do. To market this as the solution to everything and do away with everything else is more harmful than helpful.

Thanks to the publishers and #NetGalley for the ARC of #WitchcraftTherapy

Kept hoping for this to get better but it didn't. The tone tried to act like a friend but it came off as rude and holier than thou.
I'm not convinced the author actually practices witchcraft. Alot of this is nonsense. Words strung together and hoped for the best.
Most of the 'rituals' are ridiculous.
I really think the author jumped on the Insta-witch train and decided to write this book. Very ignorant. Would not recommend.
