I don't really care for this volume. this volume is mostly about side actors and I don't really care for them but I love the art style

It's not necessarily my favourite volume, but it's definitely a necessary one. There's a lot that gets unpacked here, and it makes me look forward to the final volume, even if it definitely makes me dislike a few characters along the way (though the ones that I'm not a fan of I wasn't really in the first place so it doesn't really make a huge difference). We spent a lot of time focusing on background in this one, and I'm all for it, but there's a few things that really didn't hit with me and that's why it's getting a star knocked.

Goodreads review: "wowowooww that last chapter from touma’s perspective felt like the most gentle(?) punch to the gut... the build ups kept getting better, from the homophobic argument, to masumi and mami’s breakdown, to touma’s brother’s speech 🧎 genuinely feel like i cant cry anymore but i’m sure the next volume will prove me very friggin wrong *sigh* here we go again 🚶 (pls make sure you hydrate x2 if you plan to read this)"

I find the argument about perspective interesting. I do argue that homophobia is bad; some things do have moral right and wrong like genocide is bad, homophobia is bad, etc, but I think it’s interesting how there’s a lot of talk about perspective and history. But yes homophobia is BAD
