My first thought after reading this was that I cannot believe I read 600+ pages of that. A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire was 600+ pages of Poppy traveling from Solis to Atlantia >:( . There wasn't much plot apart from characters sitting down and having conversations about nothing and Poppy and Cas having the same conversation repeatedly. Their conversation always goes like this: Poppy wants to stab Cas, Cas is turned on ("you beautiful murderous little creature" eww), Poppy stabs Cas, they have coitus, Poppy is conflicted whether she likes Cas or if Cas likes her ("he's my enemy" who kills and murders for me "but I'm not so sure if he likes me" wah wah wah), rinse and repeat for the entirety of this book. I was just really bored and felt like I finished this book for the sake of being done with this series. Even the spicy scenes weren't that spicy. Just...that's the end of my patience with this series. ;__;

Me making myself read 100 pgs per day:
