Overall, A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire carries the same issues I take with From Blood and Ash, but by this time I’ve mostly gotten used to it and still enjoyed the novel.

A Kingdom Of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L Armentrout, 628 pages.
4.75/5 ⭐️
I admit I kept this book overdue for 2 days at the library so I could finish it 🙃
I enjoyed this one a lot more then the first in the series, although there was still a lot of world building it felt balanced with interactions with new characters and new scenarios.
Also that last chapter…. Girllll, I’m excited for the next in the series. I’m glad Poppy is becoming more comfortable and confident in herself and look forward to see how she progresses.
Also Cas is one of my favorite male love interests I think, I just love how he truly cares for her and will do anything to prove it (even if they were a little confused along the way).
I would recommend this book to people who love fantasy and world building but also want a heavy romance plot!
Graphic: Sexual content and Violence
Moderate: Physical abuse
