Horror, fantasy, western. This book is a bit of mishmash, but a good mishmash, thoughtfully put together with just the right amount of each to pull it off. The pacing is very nice, except a bit of lag in near the end of the middle, but things pick up and we get a true acid western ending. With a bit of a Riverworld flavour, this was a fun read about Purgatory, good and evil, and redemption.
