this book was no plot, all vibes, and I ATE IT UP. the relationship dynamics were messy and beautiful, and I want to live in their idyllic universe they created in a society that can't accept them. I'm reeling

DID NOT FINISH: 30%

Was interested in the premise and a T4t poly romance. But the speed at which the romance started was jarring for me as it felt like the characters hadn’t even moved past the introductory phase. Maybe will try to read later

Another sweet little trans romance although this one is REALLY spicy, so much so that it’s basically erotica. While I’m not complaining necessarily, (it was hot) I did wish for the non-smut to be a bit more substantial.

I really enjoyed this, the build of their relationships (plural); the twists and turns and sometimes literal switchbacks as Madeline explores what she wants, letting herself want it; and ultimately the honestly with which the trio navigate something good and real that they are all eager to nurture.

Rare as polyam stories are, this one exceeded my expectations. I am always pleased to see when each of the pairs has their own unique dynamic, in addition to the relationship of the group/triad/V, what have you. We see that here. Stories of abundant love where not everything is 'equal' as in the same but rather treating every relationship as an organic, growing thing.

Also, Victor is precious af?! I can't explain. His anxious side, the worry when Madeline doesn't come home that once. Then the contrast between that and Audrey's willful free-spiritedness, her boldness and candor, whether it's harsh or teasing or just a no-nonsense perspective. Really solid character work here, and the way the two of them each influence Audrey's creative life is also really special to watch.

Again, all-around lovely. Had the ebook first but I'm going to pick up a paperback copy so I can loan it to friends.
