Amy Tintera did a great job writing a thoroughly unlikable cast of characters. (I don’t require characters to be likable if they have other traits or qualities I can admire or at least be entertained by). I enjoyed the exploration of trauma, false memories, and amnesia as FMC Lucy tries to unravel the murder of her best friend.
There were a couple scenes or storylines that felt like filler that ultimately were a confusing distraction, and some topics there were introduced and then not explained that stuck in my mind and left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. All in all though this was a very satisfying thriller, and the audio narration added depth to the podcast scenes that I don’t think I would have enjoyed otherwise.

I loved this audiobook. The podcast format sections of the novel came to life on the audiobook. Great twist at the end too!
Oh and the main character’s grandmother is a true gem. She brings so much life and comedic relief.
Highly recommend.

Definitely engaging. Part of the thing with this type of book is you never know if you're going to fully like it until you see how it ends. I was flipping pages like crazy and the end to me was satisfying enough.
I read at the back this was the author's first foray into adult fiction so I think she used the f word a few too many times. Still a very solid book.

It was slow to start but eventually hooked me in. I didn’t call the murderer at first, they kind of slid in at the end there, but still a good shock in my opinion. Big nice guy energy lol. Everybody cheating! Not mind blowing, but not bad overall.
