I really disliked this book. The characters were insufferable and the plot was so 1. Unbelievable and 2. Just gross, I had to double check to see if I was actually reading Hilderbrand. I loved the other books I read from her and am now wondering if those happened to be the exception or if this is the exception. Sadly, I’ve removed all of her books I had marked “to read” but will give her another try in the future. Right now, I just can’t.
