Look at me reading a holiday themed book during the holidays! What!  Hahaha but in all seriousness, this book was adorable. It fit my usual favorite romance vibes, but with a sprinkle of the holidays and taking place in one of my favorite cities (Orlando). The female MC felt like a carbon copy of myself from her job as a book keeper to her struggled with letting people in close. I too swoon for the carefree guys, which her love interest ended up being & adored their dynamics & banter. The male MC was bisexual & his sexuality, friendships, and family drama all were done so well. I love when romance stories go wider than just the romantic arc and include compelling side characters and sub plots, which this book did. I felt like a few bits moved too fast with the romance, but other than that - a fantastic read! And bonus points for shedding light on LFBTQ+ issues & the foster care system.

LGBTQ+ rep: bisexual MMC & f/f relationship with a side character.

Asa is my chaotic soft bi king and I would die for him!!!

Also I loved this book. There were so many tropes (although there were also several cliches that usually make me mad, but I liked this book so I much I mostly overlooked them)

This is a great example of a romance that does MORE. It handles some pretty heavy, real stuff, but does it well. I liked Asa and Lauren and was rooting for them all along the way

Took me less than 24 hours to read this whole book because I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want to. Loved it. 💕

Absolutely lovely! The romance was adorable and well-written, complete with solid communication, fantastic character development, and even (mostly) lovable side characters. I flew through this one, and I can honestly say I'll keep reading Alicia Thompson's romances.
