Sam and Remi are in Africa this time. Always a fun adventure. Loved the African proverbs at the beginning of each chapter. Great listen

I was definitely disappointed by this one. The synopsis leads you to believe that a lost treasure from the Roman era will play a big part in the book...but in reality the majority of the book takes place in and around a girls' school in Nigeria and the treasure hunt (such as it is) is such an afterthought that its just rushed forward in a few pages. That said, the plot was fun enough (even if the bad guy is really really obvious) and it made for a diverting few hours.

Maybe a 3.5. Despite the Fargo books being pretty much my favorite Cussler series (I also like the Oregon files and Dirk Pitt) this one never really captured me.

Review 24 - Fargo Adventures #11 The Oracle by Clive Cussler

I haven't read any of these books for a while and am so glad that I picked this one to read now.

This book was a fantastic story and had lots of action in it. Normally these books have a lot of treasure hunting in them, however this time the author decided to focus on action more than treasure hunting.

I bought this book quite a while ago and hadn't read it so am very glad I did now.

It did take me a week to read however I wasn't reading all of that time.

I enjoyed this book and am now enjoying book number 12 in the set as well.
