Schön für zwischendurch. Natürlich ahnt man bereits zu Beginn, dass der Fall eine Wendung nehmen wird, aber er ist sauber erzählt.

Perhaps something is lost in translation? The characters are paper thin. Almost nothing happens for hundreds of pages. It's all about a single plot point - which is interesting - but it is surely something that was suited to a very short short story.
