I liked aspects of this, but most of it felt like setting the stage for the epic finale, which means in a collection of the editions, this is mostly filler. I did like the April subplot, but it wrapped up way too quickly for me.

Very cute. I thought all of the separate plot lines as they all did One Last Thing were very fun. And this issue just sort of solidified every reason why April is my favorite of the Roanoke crew. And can you believe that after disappearing after volume 11, the overriding camp mystery has finally returned? Very exciting.

The only reason this isn't a five star is because I wasn't in love with the art in this one.

I guess I'm super dense because I just now realized my beloved Lumberjanes is ending!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Apparently it ended in December 2020.
Honestly, if they pull together a compendium, I will probably buy it. If, for no other reason, that I will be able to read them start to finish and refresh my memory on specific characters. Like, in this volume, I totally forgot about the mermaids.
But still: WAAAAAAAAAAH!!
