This is the ninth book in the Toronto series, but can be read as a stand alone novel. I haven't read any of the other books and didn't feel like I was missing anything.

I loved Melissa and found myself mentally giving her relationship advice as I read. It's not a good idea to discuss your past relationships on a first date, but it's probably a discussion you should have before you get married, or something like this could happen.

With a light-hearted chick lit style, this novel delved into the deeper issue of what is important to make a marriage work and what are realistic expectations.

I received this book free in exchange for an honest review.

Heather's early works were fun and quirky, but always developed and well paced. The last two of her books I've read have left me wondering where that author is.

This book was unrealistic, predictable with no real story or character development. Worst of all, the same type of scenes played out over and over again. The main character was frustrating in that she was so concerned with getting married, she settled on someone who looked good on paper, but who showed a total lack of interest in her or her needs. As for the fact she had dated both of her fiances brothers and never made the slightest connection via last names is really odd.

You'll see from my other reviews, I have really praised Heather's other books. I really was a fan of hers, however I think I'm done as the quality has really gone down.
