This could have been a good book. However, it felt very discombobulated and not cohesive. I felt like the plot was very rushed in important parts, but dragged in not so important parts. The male characters were great, but seemed to fall in love with the MC wayyyy too fast. And the sex just came out of nowhere? It just didn’t feel like it was planned out in advance. Just boom! Fingering against a wall. Caught me off guard. It also seemed like this book was trying to give reverse harem, but I never was really convinced that all three men loved her. I won’t be reading the other books in this series as I feel like I’ll just be disappointed.

Read this because of an interesting quote on Instagram. Not what I expected because it was falsely advertised. There is a mystery but it was obvious from the start who the killer is. The marketed why choose romance didn't even properly start in this one. I guess it develops in the sequels.

If you're going to set a book in Britain and have the characters be British then please for the love of all things do some basic research.

The sheer number of American phrases, spellings and terms pulled me out of the story constantly.

And seatbelts on a train????? No. Just no.

Add in the fact that Mina is just down right unlikeable and incredibly selfish, this was hard to push through.

It's incredibly slow, incredibly predictable and the smut felt like it was there for the sake of ticking a box.
