The first 3 volumes are great, but Season of Mists is when the story really gets me hooked.

Finally we get to meet Delirium!! It's still not the incarnation I saw in a glimpse of a Sandman in high school, but I was excited to actually meet a bunch of the Endless.

Morpheus kind of bites off more than he can chew in this one, and it was a really interesting ride. This kind of sounds like what I wanted from American Gods, so it was interesting to see these incarnations of mystical folks coming round to Dreaming.

I want to talk more about it but I don't want to spoil it.

Looking forward to the fifth installment!!

Gaiman writes so deeply and darkly sometimes it makes my head hurt to think about it . This was worth the read although it seemed to lag a bit.

The best one so far I think.
Getting to see sandy host so many characters was very compelling
