Look maybe I’m an idiot but I expected WAY more of the bug museum in this book. Who told me to read this

I think this was one of the first times the narrator actually ruined a book for me. Oh my god, the male main character voice actor was a poor pick. It was wayyyy too deep and villainous for male character in a cutesy romance.

Beyond the narrator, the beginning of the story was just so over the top. Like almost in an indescribable way. And the characters I felt like went from absolutely hating each other to then suddenly and secretly and constantly pining over each other. It was too much.

As much as the reviews are so positive, I did not find joy in reading this and I feel to prevent a audiobook slump its best if I just stop.

I think this book was independently published and recently republished and I gotta say, I feel like I could tell. This did not feel like something traditionally published. It tried with the humor and depth and tropes but it didn’t land to me. It also did not feel very unique to me. It kinda felt like Just For the Summer wannabe especially with the single parent trope, but not done well. I know this is all an unpopular opinion but it’s still how I felt while reading this book. Anyway, on to the next!

Me encantó desde el principio. No quería parar de escuxhar. La relación se dio un poco rápido, pero la conexión se sentía muy real. Me gustó el elemento de las gemelas, los cuales nos dan más vulnerabilidad y diversidad de parejas.

4.5 ⭐️

This was super cute. I kept putting it off which idk why. It had the insta love trope, but idk why it didn’t bother me. I loved Millie and Fin relationship. I loved how vulnerable they both where and how the girls just wanted here everything. Fins parents are shit but Millie family made up for them .
slow-paced

The best thing about this book is Millies family. Did not end although nothing was happening. Zero details about her job which was the reason I wanted to read it.
