Good read, but not my favourite, I didn't feel we got to know Sam all that well, like we did with the other old ladies. Tango and Ian kept cropping up and at times I wished the author concentrated on Sam and Aiden, I am looking forward to Tangos book though. I think it also got a bit wishy washy at the end, not serious enough, I'm surprised not one person got hurt when they went to rescue Tango?

I still think this author is amazing, and will be following anymore Lean Dogs books which are released. will be reading this authors back titles too. Fav book has to be Mercy and Ava's, then Walsh and Emmie, Michael and Holly and Aiden and Sam last.

Overall a brilliant MC series and well worth a read.

L G writes fantastically...this one just fell short for some reason. It's difficult to trump Ava/Mercy and Holly/Michael's books. I'm planning to skip over Kev's book for now. I excited to read Ghost and Maggie's book.

I like this series because I love the Teagues and the Lean Dogs as a family. Not usually a fan of cosy, heartwarming novels, but these books are an exception. However, I have to admit, in this novel I kind of found Aidan and Sam a bit boring. By themselves, they are nothing special. When they're interacting with the large cast of characters, they seem more necessary, and I like them much better.

I'm looking forward to Tango's book. His storyline has always intrigued me. I hope Lauren Gilley goes the angsty route and develops a love triangle between him, Whitney, and Ian. I would love that so much. I'm also really excited for Candyman's novel, as well as Walsh's brother Fox. The men from the other MC club are so interesting to me.

This was a little difficult to read in parts, I wasn't in the mood to let my imagination roam to the dark side with what happened to Tango. And the whole father son dynamic between Ghost and Aiden..a little too close to the bone for me and so a little triggering.

I was really looking forward to Aidan’s story and I was not disappointed! I was so so so worried about the whole situation with Tonya and I normally stay FAR FAR away from books with the H having a baby with someone other then the h but the author really knocked it out of the park and I truly loved how it was done. I really love how Sam did not let Aidan run all over her even though she had. been in love with him since she was a teenage girl. Seeing her push him in a loving way to grow up on his own was really amazing. I just love this series so much. Also I’m so mad at Ghost for the way he handled the entire situation with Tango. He of all people knows what horrors are being triggered for him and it just killed me to see him kinda drag his feet. I wish he would have been more supportive or at least acknowledge the strides that Aidan has taken to start growing up and removing his head from his ass but he just didn’t. I hope he does more in the next one. Idk if I’m ready for my sweet baby Tango’s book

I didn't enjoy this re-read as much as I remember liking it the first couple of times I read it. I just think Sam and Aiden fell flat. I didn't think they had much chemistry and I wasn't convinced by how quick Sam fell in love. I know she had a crush on Aiden as a teen but they barely spoke to each other and they reconnected as adults but I just didn't see what Sam saw in him.

I like that Aiden did learn and grow as a person but also at the same time, I don't think he grew enough, I wanted more growth from him. Another one of my pet peeves was how quickly Maggie trusted Sam and considered her family, I know she's Ava's friend and so has been around the family quite a bit but, you would think that Maggie would be super protective of Aiden but instead, she loved Sam straight away and considered her family. With how much of a hard time she gave Holly, I just think it felt a bit weird.

This wasn't my favourite but, I am looking forward to carrying on my re-read of the series. I just need to decide if I'm going to read the Lean Dog Legacies book next or go straight onto Loverboy.

I ended up liking this one but didn’t love it as much as I did the previous books.
I guess there has to be one of those in a long series like this one.

What I liked

-The writing and characterization, the author shines when it comes to this.

-Aidan as a son, brother and best friend. Everyone needs an Aidan, he is one of those bffs who will find you arguing with someone, he will join you, defend you, then ask later what was happening. I love his friendship with Tango.

- Mercy! Gaaah! I am hopeless when it comes to him. He will forever be in my heart.

-Ian, bless his romantic monster heart.

- Tango…. gosh! What a broken soul, I am afraid to read his book.

- Catching up with the lives of the characters from previous books. I need more Michael.

-The rescue mission was badass. Whoooop! Whoop!

What I didn’t like

-Aidan as a boyfriend/lover – that was a 180 he did, one day he is
Spoiler in love with Tonya the next, Tonya is a bitch and Sam is the one?

-I didn’t get the Aidan/Sam pairing, and the explanation that Sam has been crushing on Aidan since she was 16? I thought crushes fade? It wasn’t a good reason to make me buy into their relationship.

-Sam, Ugh! She became one of those heroines. Why Lauren? Whhhyyy? Sam!
SpoilerHaving unprotected sex with Aidan who is a known man whore, saying “it’s okay we don’t need rubber, I am on the pill.” Ugh!

- The lack of
SpoilerCondoms!! I love me some bareback from time to time but Lawd these people test STDS with their eyes.

Overall, I ended up liking it once I decide to stop focusing on Aidan and Sam. I felt like Aidan and Sam didn’t stand out in their own book. IMO, they are supporting cast material not main cast.
