This book has been compared to The Women, but it's different. While both deal with young nurses and Vietnam, the similarities end there. My favorite part of the book is when the main character starts nursing school. Her experiences and relationships with two other students are the basis of the book.  I enjoyed the book as a tale of women in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
