As always, John Marrs delivers. I ate this up, but Part 4 honestly knocked it down a star. John usually gets me with the twists, but I called all of Part 4 fairly early on. Still a good read.

John Marrs, you are a masterful storyteller, especially in your speculative thrillers. I'm a few years behind on this one but man, it might as well have been written yesterday. It's so relevant to the state of the world in 2025 and incredibly believable, even though its technically only "speculative."
I love the twisty road this book takes us on as we gradually meet each of the Passengers, learn their back stories, and eventually their secrets. The moral considerations of choosing who will live will make for a great book club discussion! And then learning about the details of the hacking and who was behind it helps to bring the story full circle. And I really appreciate the final two sections of 6-months later and 2-years later! I always like knowing how things turn out for everyone.
I only rounded down because at times the book got a little technical and I found my eyes glazing over, although these sections were brief and quickly recovered to the action of the story.
Another great read by the incredibly talented John Marrs 👏

I thought this book was good. While disturbing, the premise was interesting and unique... And eerily possible. I did not get too attached to any of the characters unfortunately, but I did love each and every story. My favorite quote in the world is, "everyone has a story" and this book is a good reminder of that. While there was a Twist, the ending was still subpar for me but overall, a very engaging book. I listened to the audiobook as well as read the physical book.

Loved this book! It made me cry at the height of tension, but I loved the other books by the same author more I think! It took me a long time to get into it and then read most of it in a day. Recommend totally though!

Wow, this book was so awesome! I absentmindedly picked this up off my shelf after forgetting I bought it months ago. I thought I’d get it off my TBR list. I’m so glad I did! How is this book not more well-known? It was full of non-stop, action-packed, heart stopping intensity! The twists were literally at the end of every single chapter. I could not put this book down. It was surprisingly not at all cheesy. The characters were believable and so was the storyline for being in a semi-futuristic setting. If you’re looking to get out of a reading rut, this will do the trick!
