I loved this book! The characters, the storyline, the creativity, the twists - I didn’t want to stop reading…. The last 5% got slightly less interesting and almost boring - otherwise it would be a 5-star to me.

A fast paced and gripping read that had me changing my opinions on characters constantly. I enjoyed how certain chapters went into more detail of the victims pasts.

My most recommended thriller has always been The One by John Marrs, and the fact that I took so long to read The Passengers was a massive failure in my part.
I’ll start my saying you can read The Passengers and not read The One, however, The One is mentioned multiple times and there’s a spoiler to that book in this one, so I would suggest reading The One first.
This book took me on such a wild ride! The plot was so gripping and at times this was super dark. John Marrs’ speculative thrillers are incredible.
This starts off with a bunch of people getting into their AI controlled vehicles, they soon lose all access to the car’s features and controls, their destination is changed, and a mysterious voice tells them that they are going to die.
These people are all so vastly different from each other, and the way this story plays out was beyond anything that I was expecting. The way the story unfolds and all of the twists and secrets were absolutely addictive.
I even had to download the audiobook because I could not bear the thought of putting it down to fold laundry. Not even kidding, just like with The One, I was completely glued to this book.
If you are into sci-fi thrillers, books that are told from multiple perspectives, books that are unique and have twists that’ll shock the hell out of you - pick up The One, and then this book.
