while i enjoyed this book, it was a bit slow. not because it was too dense but because there were a lot of examples that i found unnecessary. a good beginner ace book!

como persona ace cuyo special interest es leer sobre estudios queer, pensaba que no había mucho más que un libro sobre asexualidad me podría aportar honestly. i was so wrong!!! tiene un balance buenísimo entre lo didáctico y lo complejo, sin sentirse demasiado académico o demasiado simple. creo que el aspecto anecdótico añade algo muy refreshing a un libro que ahonda tanto en teoría, lo hace más personal y vivo, recordándonos que detrás de todo el análisis también están las vivencias reales de personas que forman toda esta red de pensamiento. no sé, me ha sorprendido mucho en los matices que explora y las reflexiones que me ha logrado provocar a lo largo de todo el libro. me encanta que este libro tenga una reputación tan buena y que lo haga tan accesible a que más gente pueda tener la oportunidad de descubrir lo interesantes e importantes que son los estudios ace y que les pueda apasionar tanto como a mí! estaré pensando en este libro mucho tiempo jeje
