I liked this one much better than the first - it still wasn't great but it was definitely a better read. We get to learn more about the different characters and get to see Juliette grow and develop as a person.

We finally get a clearer picture of the structure of society and what exactly they are trying to fight against.

Is this book mainly plot- or character-driven?
Considering the plot is almost nonexistent, it can’t be anything but character driven.

This is supposed to be a dystopian romance, but if I’m gonna be honest it’s 95% romance with a sprinkle of dystopian. The world building is barely existent at best.
I honestly don’t know what the main characters are doing to fight against the Reestablishment really, they’re just mildly annoying stealing supplies, it’s generous to call this group of misfits rebels.

The romance is bad, the plot doesn’t exist outside of the romance and the characters are so insanely boring.
It feels like I’m reading a rapidly updated fanfiction, that’s how inconsistent the plot is.

But alas, I have all 6 of the books so I’m gonna keep reading cause although horrifically bad, it’s mildly entertaining and an easy read ;)

Honestly I forgot most of the things that happened in this book, exacpt for Warner.

At most points I was like

"Wait wut?

That happened. How did I forget that.

Wtf O_O"

I knew Warnette was going to happen.

EDIT:
Ok, so I finally managed to calm myself. Honestly, I was a bit annoyed that Juliette was always thinking about Adam and his needs like he is a baby angel, but he just doesn't know how to contain himself and he is so needy... I'm so glad that Warnette is happening because Warner helps her improve. Oh, and have I mentioned that Warner and Adam are brothers? Welp they are :))))))
