Interesting story. It feels very historical and academic as David Grann is very thorough in recounting the facts around the story, not just the story itself.

Fantastic book! So well written and it was such an interesting and heart breaking topic to listen to. I highly think that anyone with an interest in American history should listen to this to learn more about a sad time in our country’s history. History is so important because so much of it’s swept under the rug of time and if it’s not read about it is not learned about then it’s doomed to be repeated in one way or another and that cannot happen.

What a tragic story---a real story. I studied and did a project on the Osage nation for school, then saw Scorcese's film Killers of the Flower Moon, which inspired me to read the book. There was so much information; the way Grann was able to stitch everything together into a cohesive story was impressive. Getting to the end and seeing how many people came together to cover up crimes was heartbreaking.
