Totally fascinating and well-researched. The actual writing was a little bland toward the middle, but picked up at the end when the narrator became a more active participant and he wrote more about his research process and why he became so invested.

Such a well-researched book and the author did a wonderful job of crafting a narrative while also sharing the tragedies that happened during the Osage Reign of Terror

This book was a big disappointment for me. It was more informational than it was telling a story of the injustice of what happened to the Osage tribe. If you like to listen to an FBI files retelling on how they "cracked the case", then this is for you. If you are not a robot and you like to feel genuine emotion, look elsewhere.
