A beautifully published book of selected Christie short stories for the spring that I read in the Indian summer 😊

I’ve read all of them before, but remembered some better than others. ‘Have You Got Everything You Want?’ Featuring Parker Pyne was one I didn’t remember at all, whereas the ones featuring Poirot and Marple were all very familiar. Although I much prefer her novels, Christie has great skill as a short story writer. Her novels themselves are never overly long and her short stories are concise and yet engaging.
I love how she sketches out both characters and the mystery from start to finish within 15-20 pages without compromising on the thrills and adventure!

I enjoyed revisiting these, not the least because I needed a comfort read after The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida!
